It can assist with certain mental health conditions, however a counsellors job is not to label or diagnose, but to help you work through tough times. The role of a counsellor is not to tell you what to do, rather to help you find ways that work for you. This can be achieved by helping you to develop a better self understanding enabling you to solve problems and make clearer decisions. Counselling offers a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore you and how you can get the very best out of life.
